Omschrijving

The KERN OBE is the all-round transmitted light microscope for biology lessons, practical training and the routine laboratory. The series has six versions: three with 4x, 10x and 40x objectives (40x to 400x) and three that add a 100x oil objective (up to 1000x). Each optical set comes monocular (OBE 121 and 131), binocular (122 and 132) and trinocular with a camera port (124 and 134).

The 3 W LED illumination is continuously dimmable and lasts almost indefinitely. The Abbe condenser (aperture 1.25) is height-adjustable and has an aperture diaphragm, so you match contrast and depth of field to the specimen. The binocular and trinocular models have a butterfly tube that you turn to the right viewing angle; the interpupillary distance adjusts from 48 to 75 mm.

The mechanical stage travels 70 by 50 mm and is operated with coaxial coarse and fine focusing on both sides. A practical detail: there is a storage compartment for the mains cable at the back, and the microscope can also be powered via USB, for example from a power bank in a classroom without a socket at every bench. A dust cover, eyecups and a multilingual manual are included.
