What you can choose from
The range runs from 15 kg to 600 kg. The finest readability is 2 g. Which one you need depends on the smallest weight you still want to see: a scale that goes up to 600 kg reads more coarsely than one that stops at 15 kg.
Verified or not
Of these 31 series, 15 can be supplied verified with the green M mark, 30 versions in total. You need that mark as soon as the weight determines what a customer pays. We supply scales verified from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. See re-verification.
Kern in healthcare
For healthcare, Kern makes a dedicated line: personal, chair, bed and baby scales, with the approval that goes with them. Medical weighing is subject to legal metrology requirements, so these instruments are available in a verified version.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a scale from this page verified?
Some of the series here can be supplied verified, with the green M mark. This is shown for each model under "Available verified"; we supply them verified from the factory, and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer.
What weighing range do I need?
Take the heaviest item you will ever want to weigh and add the packaging or the pallet. A scale chosen with a much larger capacity reads more coarsely than necessary.
Can you also maintain the scale?
Yes. We are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate, using original parts.
