About Ohaus

Ohaus has existed since 1907 and operates worldwide in scales, balances and laboratory equipment. Its focus is on analytical and precision balances and the laboratory equipment around them; Ohaus also makes industrial, counting and floor scales. What Ohaus is known for is ease of operation: an instrument that a new user can get working without a manual.

Our authorisation

Ohaus Corporation has authorised us to repair and recalibrate their weighing instruments, using original Ohaus parts. Re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer.

What you can choose from

The range runs from 82 g to 3 tonnes. The finest readability is 0.01 mg. Which one you need depends on the smallest weight you still want to see: a scale that goes up to 3 tonnes reads more coarsely than one that stops at 82 g.

Verified or not

Of these 58 series, 30 can be supplied verified with the green M mark, 509 versions in total. You need that mark as soon as the weight determines what a customer pays. We supply scales verified from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. See re-verification.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a scale from this page verified?

Some of the series here can be supplied verified, with the green M mark. This is shown for each model under "Available verified"; we supply them verified from the factory, and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer.

What weighing range do I need?

Take the heaviest item you will ever want to weigh and add the packaging or the pallet. A scale chosen with a much larger capacity reads more coarsely than necessary.

Can you also maintain the scale?

Yes. We are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate, using original parts.
