Baxtran weights
Alongside KERN, Baxtran has its own range of check weights, with the emphasis on the heavier classes: the block weights and cast iron weights used to check a floor or crane scale. For the fine classes in the laboratory, the KERN range is the more obvious choice.
Maintenance, calibration and repair
We calibrate and adjust test weights in our own laboratory, Masslab, in OIML classes E2 to M3; the certificates are then available in the Masslab customer portal. See calibration with a certificate and what a calibration certificate contains.
Frequently asked questions
Which class of test weight suits my scale?
One class finer than what the scale reads. For an analytical balance that is E2 or F1, for a bench scale F2 or M1, for a floor scale M1 or M2.
Can you also calibrate test weights?
Yes. We calibrate weights and supply a certificate stating the measurement uncertainty.
