Omschrijving
Brix is the sugar content in mass per cent, and the KERN ORA-B measures it in seconds: a drop of juice, must or syrup on the prism, close the lid, look towards the light. Choose the range that suits your product, because a narrower range reads more accurately.
ORA 10BA (0-10 %, 0.1 %) for soft drinks and light juice, ORA 20BA (0-20 %) for fruit juice and vegetables, ORA 32BA (0-32 %, 0.2 %) the all-rounder for fruit and must, ORA 62BA (28-62 %) for concentrate and jam. The ORA 80BB (0-80 %, 0.5 %) and 82BB (45-82 %) cover syrup, honey and sugar solutions. The BA models have automatic temperature compensation (ATC, 10-30 °C), so there is nothing to convert.
Finely engraved scale, adjustable eyepiece, engraved serial number. Included: storage box, calibration fluid, pipette, screwdriver and cleaning cloth.
