Table scales

The bench scale is the workhorse of almost every production environment: compact, fast and suitable for anything you can lift by hand. Typical capacities range from a few kilos to a few hundred kilos, with divisions from a tenth of a gram. Almost all models have a tare function, which removes the weight of the container or packaging, and many models can also count or check against a limit value. We supply bench scales from Baxtran, KERN, Adam Equipment, OHAUS and Gram.

Bench scales for workbench, production and counter

Choosing by environment

Where the scale stands determines the model more than what you put on it. In a dry workshop a plastic housing is fine. In food processing, where water and cleaning agents are used every day, you need a fully stainless steel model with a high IP rating and no seams where product residue can collect. If you work at different locations or without mains power, pay attention to battery life; scales that only run on mains power quickly become impractical in a warehouse. If the scale stands in an environment with vibration or draughts, a model with a stable base and a good filter setting is worth considering.

Verified for trade use

As soon as you weigh at the counter or on the line to determine a price, a scale that is legal for trade is a legal requirement. We supply most models in a verified version from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. For internal checks an annual calibration with certificate is usually sufficient and considerably cheaper. Our engineers can install the scale, set limit values and connect it to a printer, till or recording system on your premises if required, so the scale works the way it should in your process.

What you can choose from

The range runs from 200 g to 600 kg. The finest readability is 1 mg. Which one you need depends on the smallest weight you still want to see: a scale that goes up to 600 kg reads more coarsely than one that stops at 200 g.

Which brands

Here we carry Kern, Baxtran, Ohaus, Adam, Gram and WPL Industries. These are brands we are a dealer for, and we are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate their scales.

Verified or not

Of these 86 series, 44 can be supplied verified with the green M mark, 554 versions in total. You need that mark as soon as the weight determines what a customer pays. We supply scales verified from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. See re-verification.

Maintenance, calibration and repair

What we sell, we also maintain. You can have a bench scale calibrated with a certificate or repaired with original parts by us; if it is verified, re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. More under scale service.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a scale from this page verified?

Some of the series here can be supplied verified, with the green M mark. This is shown for each model under "Available verified"; we supply them verified from the factory, and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer.

What weighing range do I need?

Take the heaviest item you will ever want to weigh and add the packaging or the pallet. A scale chosen with a much larger capacity reads more coarsely than necessary.

Can you also maintain the scale?

Yes. We are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate, using original parts.
