A parcel scale determines the weight the carrier charges for. That seems a detail until you multiply it by the number of shipments: declaring too little leads to surcharges, declaring too much means you overpay every single day. Our range runs from 6 kg to 300 kg, from OHAUS, Baxtran and Adam Equipment.

Parcel scales for the dispatch department
What to look for when choosing
Platform size before capacity. With parcels, the box is usually too big before it is too heavy; a parcel that hangs over the edge and touches the table weighs too light. A division of 20 or 50 grams is enough — carriers charge in steps of hundreds of grams or whole kilos, so measuring more finely costs money without adding anything. A connection to your shipping software removes the retyping, and with it the typing error that causes a surcharge. A rechargeable battery is handy on a packing table that is moved from time to time.
Verification requirement
If the weighed result directly determines what you or your customer pays, the scale must be legal for trade. If you only weigh to know what you are declaring, and the carrier charges on its own weighing, a calibration certificate is sufficient. We supply scales verified from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer. More about verification and calibration.
Related categories
For heavier shipments on a pallet, take a look at the pallet scales or the floor scales. If you also need a label, see the label printing scales.
What you can choose from
The range runs from 6 kg to 300 kg. The finest readability is 2 g. Which one you need depends on the smallest weight you still want to see: a scale that goes up to 300 kg reads more coarsely than one that stops at 6 kg.
Which brands
Here we carry Ohaus, Adam and Baxtran. These are brands we are a dealer for, and we are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate their scales.
Verified or not
Of these 6 series, 1 can be supplied verified with the green M mark, 5 versions in total. You need that mark as soon as the weight determines what a customer pays. We supply scales verified from the factory; the initial verification is carried out by the manufacturer and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. See re-verification.
Maintenance, calibration and repair
What we sell, we also maintain. You can have a parcel scale calibrated with a certificate or repaired with original parts by us; if it is verified, re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer. More under scale service.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a scale from this page verified?
Some of the series here can be supplied verified, with the green M mark. This is shown for each model under "Available verified"; we supply them verified from the factory, and re-verification is arranged through the manufacturer.
What weighing range do I need?
Take the heaviest item you will ever want to weigh and add the packaging or the pallet. A scale chosen with a much larger capacity reads more coarsely than necessary.
Can you also maintain the scale?
Yes. We are authorised by the manufacturer to repair and recalibrate, using original parts.
