The capacity display of the KERN EWJ is represented by an ascending light band. This visual indicator clearly shows the available weighing range, allowing you to quickly determine if the weight falls within the scale's measurement range. This prevents overloading and minimizes measurement errors.

For models with a maximum weighing capacity up to 600 g, wind protection is provided as a standard accessory. This wind protection ensures that external factors, such as air currents, do not affect the accuracy of measurements. The compact size of the scale (W×D×H 134 × 128 × 80 mm) combined with the wind protection makes it ideal for use in precision-focused laboratory settings.

The KERN EWJ 300-3H stands out with a large glass wind protection featuring 3 sliding doors. This specific feature provides convenient access to the material being weighed and makes it easy to position the weighing material accurately. The weighing space of this model is W×D×H 155×175×217 mm, making it suitable for larger samples.

For data exchange, the scale is equipped with a standard RS-232 data interface. This allows easy transfer of measurement data to other devices or systems for further analysis or processing. Additionally, the scale also features a USB data interface, enabling you to transfer weighing data to a PC, printer, USB stick, and other compatible devices. This functionality offers flexibility and makes it easy to record or share measurement results with others.

Note: The RS-232 and USB data interfaces are available as standard on all models except the EWJ-SM.
